Our Learning in the Autumn Term
English Maths In English this term, we will be using Talk 4 Writing to help us learn to how to write a set of instructions, some poetry and a traditional tale inspired by ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’.
In reading, we will be focusing on prosody and the key reading skills (our VIPERS):

In Maths this term, we will be covering;

Art and Design
In Art, we will be exploring different types of media and colour. We will use this to create frontage collages.
Design and Technology
In DT, we will be creating a patchwork by learning how to stitch! We will also be learning about food and nutrition, making pita crisps and tasty jam jar salads!
Computing
In Computing we will be learning about IT around us and we will also look at digital photography,
Geography
In Geography, we will be studying human and physical geography and we will compare a small local area to an area in a non-European country (Yanomami).
History
In History this term, we will be looking at The Great Fire of London.
